About the role
Join AceSpeak as an AI / ML Engineer and help improve the app’s speech and delivery scoring. You will refine the models that score gestures, facial expression, pace, intonation and pauses.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve scoring models for body language and voice
- Analyse clip data and improve automation quality
- Integrate model outputs into the app experience
- Track performance and iterate from real user feedback
- Help define measurement and product signals for coaching
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years in AI/ML, especially with audio, video or multimodal systems
- Strong Python and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Familiarity with signal processing, computer vision, or speech analytics
- A pragmatic, product-driven approach
- Good written English and teamwork skills
Nice to have
- App-based AI or on-device inference experience
- Coaching, education technology, or speech analytics background
- Privacy-sensitive data handling experience
AceSpeak candidate exercise
All applicants are required to complete a short AceSpeak practice exercise and achieve a total AceSpeak score above 3,000 before submitting an application.

The score is one part of a human-reviewed application process and is not used as the sole hiring criterion. If you cannot use Instagram, the app or the scoring format, need another token, or need a reasonable adjustment, email hello@acespeak.uk and we will arrange complimentary access or an equivalent alternative exercise.
Working details: This is a full-time role. Remote / hybrid within Hong Kong. Standard full-time hours apply, with the exact schedule agreed during hiring. There is no fixed degree requirement; equivalent practical experience is welcome.
