About the role
AceSpeak is hiring an AI Research Scientist to explore and validate new methods for understanding speaking delivery across voice, facial expression and body language. You will turn promising research into practical experiments and product improvements.
Responsibilities
- Research multimodal approaches for speech, audio, video and behavioural analysis
- Design experiments, evaluation methods and calibration studies
- Prototype new scoring and coaching techniques
- Work with engineering teams to move successful ideas toward production
- Document findings and communicate trade-offs clearly
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years in applied AI research, machine learning or data science
- Strong Python and experience with modern ML research tools
- Experience in at least one of computer vision, speech/audio analysis or multimodal learning
- Sound experimental design, statistics and model-evaluation skills
- Ability to balance research quality with practical product needs
Nice to have
- Advanced degree or equivalent applied research experience
- Published research, patents or evidence of shipped AI work
- Experience with responsible AI, bias evaluation or privacy-sensitive data
AceSpeak candidate exercise

Working details: This is a full-time role. Remote / hybrid within the UK; London preferred. Standard full-time hours apply, with the exact schedule agreed during hiring. There is no fixed degree requirement; equivalent practical experience is welcome.
